We haven’t seen any ban reports from the use of cosmetic mods yet, and that’s a good thing. We’d be surprised if that happened given how troublesome Battlefront 2’s first few months have been, but it’s not out of the question. Based on the confirmation above it looks like cosmetics are covered, but the loose official wording means that ruling could technically change at any time. The ToS implies that so-called authorized files can be modded, but it never specifically outlines authorized files. In other words, while the initial forum response seems fairly cut-and-dry, EA’s legal wording on the subject is not. Windows 7 Professional 64bit on Kingston HyperX Fury SSD (120Gb)ĨGb Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming GTX1080 OC PCIe Waterforce GFX Card I can sewhy EA earned the reputation for most reviled company in the history of gaming. If EA want's to be so shoddy that they sell games that don't even start then I will not buy from EA. I am now going to se if there is a way to refund the game as it is against Australian consumer law to sell me a product that doesn't work. I tried repairing the install and even tried uninstalling and redownloading the 60+Gb game and it refuses to start. It tries to start, fails and returns me to the Origin client. I bought this game today and it won't start at all.
